Emily and the Ideals is an original music machine. We write across genres, centering in on American Soul, Vintage Rock, y Música Latina. Heavy on the back beat, obsessed with jazz trumpet, and always telling a story. We write music for the grass in the sidewalk cracks, urban love and industrial heartbreak.

Lead singer and co-writer Emily Turonis is a Hoboken native who reps hard for Hudson County. Paul Maurice Steinman is our lead guitar player, band leader and co-writer. Carlos Francis on trumpet, Gary Frazier on bass and Kenny Soule on drums.
