about the bands

Fancy Colors

Brooklyn duo Fancy Colors most recently released their second album ‘Island of the Dead’ ; a record of orchestrated dream pop that attempts to examine the unscientific, personally-oriented mysteries of life.

With ‘Island of the Dead’ Zac Colwell (Chappo, Big Data) & Dave Heilman (Sondre Lerche, Regina Spektor) have written, recorded and produced an album that moves along ethereal waves to orchestral krautrock explorations while taking strong root in vivid story telling.

Jeff Taylor

Jeff Taylor was born and raised in New Jersey, residing in the NYC area since 2007.

In 2012, Taylor released the album, “Frustration In Time Travel” under his previous band moniker, Dumpster Hunter. The album was produced and mixed by Steve Wall with additional production by John Siket. The album also featured the musical talents of Mark Guiliana, Steve Wall, Cole Whittle, and Elizabeth Ziman.

2014 saw the first ‘Jeff Taylor’ release, “Organelle”, a 4-track EP produced by and featuring Thomas Bartlett (Glenn Hansard, Martha Wainwright, The National, Sufjan Stevens) and was released on a limited edition 10″ 45rpm vinyl

The past few years have found Jeff Taylor on tour as support for Trixie Whitley and Kishi Bashi, as well as touring and recording with Sara Bareilles. In a departure from strictly musical performance, Taylor also made his stage debut as Larry the Dwarf in the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s production of Frank Zappa’s “200 Motels.” In “Motels” Taylor sang with the LA Phil for their 10th Anniversary Celebration of their home venue in Downtown LA, The Walt Disney Concert Hall. In 2015, Taylor composed music for NPR/WNYC podcast, Radiolab.

Jeff Taylor is also part of Mark Guiliana’s Beat Music project, and sang “A Small Plot of Land” with The Donny McCaslin Group (David Bowie’s Blackstar band) on their recent album, “Beyond Now”.

Sean Kiely

Sean Kiely is a singer-songwriter living & writing in Jersey City since 2008. After releasing his first full-length Arch Envy in 2012, Sean turned his focus toward the acoustic guitar, and began crafting the intricate instrumental parts and evocative lyrics that characterize the songs on his last full-length album, the highly praised, Your Logo, My Logo.

Praise for Your Logo, My Logo:
“one of those sublime and unassuming efforts that sneaks up on you until you find it won’t let go.”
– Lee Zimmerman, NO DEPRESSION

“a grand, acoustic, folk-rock journey through America’s recent adventures in the realms of money, entertainment, news, sports, tribalism, failure, success, love, death and distraction.”
