About featured artist: Alex Pergament is a collaborative guitarist, improviser, and songwriter who leads the Just Now Orchestra and After School Activities. He believes in making space for sponteneity, in listening as a building tool, and that everything fits together if you can see it right.

About Spaghetti Sessions Performing Songwriter Workshop: Since 2011, the Spaghetti Sessions has held their monthly songwriter workshop in downtown Jersey City. Musicians perform to a roomful of their peers who offer insights and feedback on the works-in-progress. Over the years, the Sessions have fostered a growing community of musicians, many of whom have gone on to become established artists throughout the JC area and beyond.
